Deposit Agreement
Leather and Lace DobermansDeposit AgreementI ____________________________________________, hereinafter referred to as buyer, agree to pay the amount of $____________ as a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit toward the total purchase price of $__________ for a Doberman Pinscher puppy, hereinafter referred to as Puppy, from Leather and Lace Dobermans, hereinafter referred to as Breeder.
Buyer understands that by placing this deposit on a Doberman puppy from Breeder, they are not guaranteed Puppy will be produced from the current breeding taking place. Buyer understands and has been notified of their position on a waiting list of potential buyers by Breeder. All potential buyers ahead of Buyer will be given the option of choice of Puppy in order of deposits received until Buyer's position on the list is reached. If Buyer decides not to choose Puppy from the breeding that has taken place, Buyer's position on the waiting list will be transferred to the next planned breeding. Buyer understands that when being transferred to a different potential breeding, Buyer will be placed behind those already on the waiting list for said breeding, no matter how long deposit has been placed or position on the previous waiting list. All agreements still apply with new potential breeding at hand.
Breeder agrees that Buyer's position on the waiting list is known and true, and Buyer's position will be respected. Buyer will be offered a choice of Puppy at 6 weeks old, after puppy aptitude testing is performed, and after all potential buyers above Buyer on the waiting list have had their opportunities.
Buyer understands that paying this deposit does not allow them early visitation with puppies of any litter. Breeder elects to withhold visitation from outside parties until Puppy and siblings are 6 weeks of age and have received their first innocculations. Breeder will provide Buyer with photographs and videos of all puppies when applicable (typically at each week of age). Buyer will be notified of any and all losses associated with any litter.
Breeder has the right to deny sale of Puppy to Buyer if circumstances change from time of application, or if Breeder is notified of issues with Buyer that deem them no longer approved for purchase of Puppy. Under these circumstances, Breeder will return 90% of deposit paid, keeping possession of 10% as payment of loss of sale from other potential buyers by holding position for an unfit Buyer.
Buyer understands that if they fail to make the remaining payment for Puppy, the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be forfeited unless otherwise discussed by Breeder and Buyer to apply deposit for a future
breeding.
With signatures following from both Buyer and Breeder, both parties agree to all terms stated in the above contract. This NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will serve as commitment to buy Puppy from Breeder by Buyer, and all parties understand the validity of the payment. By signing this contract for initial deposit of Puppy, Buyer agrees that they have been provided with and read the entire Puppy Contract provided by Leather and Lace Dobermans and has no issues with the terms of said contract before placing a deposit for Puppy.
